Since our early days, when Smarter Surfaces was recognised for our product range and company, we have focused on research and development to continue delivering functional surfaces: wallcoverings, paints and plaster to the global market.
As a young company we won many awards and subsequently took a strategic decision to focus on continuing the rapid growth of our global business. We dedicate ourselves to Research and Developing to design, manufacture and offer truly innovative functional wallcoverings, paints and plaster to meet the needs of the interior commercial workspace as well as teaching/ learning environments.
Smart Wall Paint captured the attention of a judging panel of respected industry professionals. Before claiming the prize we were initially shortlisted from a high number of entries.The inspiration behind their choice?Smart Wall Paint was ‘something a bit different.’ A great product which brings individuality to the office products sector.Smart Wall Paint overcame stiff competition against nominees including Nestle and Kimberly Clark Professional to win this prestigious award which sets our dry-erase paint apart from any other on the market.
Smarter Surfaces, before claiming the main prize, succeeded as the winners of the Leinster Division. This award secured Smarter Surfaces place as a successful new company which has since developed into an established, global brand. Tough competition was fought off from Arklu (children’s entertainment company), Sedicii (Online Security Provider) and Revive Active Products (Health Product Manufacturer).
Smarter Surfaces™ founder Ronan Clarke has been awarded a David Manley Award, within the Business category. The aim of the David Manley Emerging Entrepreneur Awards is to recognise and nurture the enterprising spirit in Business, the Arts and in Social and Community. Speaking on the win, Cairín O’Connor, Development Director of the Docklands Innovation Park said, Smart Wall Paint (now known as Smarter Surfaces) is ‘an example of innovation and a good team combined with the ambition to grow business steadily’, as she congratulated the company on their win.
